## About This Game

“What if”… You’ve escaped from a burning base, in the harshest environment
on Earth. Imprisoned by people you don’t understand. Treated as a criminal,
exhausted, defenseless with only one thought in mind “have I brought this
Thing with me”. Or maybe… IT allowed me to find new people? In this
survival-RPG-horror mix, you need to survive, whatever the cost. Finish it
once and for all or your secret will be buried in ice and humankind has no
future.
## Remember these rules & mechanics or you will be unable to complete your
task
Stay Together = stay safe, if you find yourself alone for too long, your story
ends.
Harsh Environment – hunger, cold, stress & contamination can be as fatal as a
monster.
Choices – steal, help, kill, run away, destroy – you decide how the game ends.
Trust no one – teamwork helps but how can you be sure who is human and, who is
not.
Time – escape/kill the creature(s). Last alive? Then you are not human
anymore.

Say hello to my little friend

Is there something better than a flamethrower? It gives you heat, bullets can
kill humans, for anything else you need something far “hotter”. Remember, this
thing will save your ass.

Survive

You are in the middle of nowhere at the coldest place on Earth. Staying
outside is suicide. You need to keep warm. Need to find enough gas to maintain
power and heat. You need food (food not contaminated by an unwelcomed
“guest”). You need to find a weapon or make one. Alongside physical health,
you need to take care of your and other crew members’ mental health. Too much
stress can make you crack and this results in with uncontrollable behavior,
attack, destroying key equipment, or even suicide.

Think before acting

Every decision can be vital here. Your goal is to survive and kill the
creature, or escape if you are unable to do it. It is up to you how you’ll
make that happen. You can kill everyone or try to save them all. Good
relations, teamwork, wise decisions, and charisma can sometimes give better
results than a gun.

Learn from mistakes

You have tried once to kill it and you have failed. This is not gonna be easy.
At the start you have nothing. Staying alone too long – gets you killed. If
you don’t have enough heat – you’ll die. Remaining outside means you’ll freeze
to death. If you see too many horrible things – you will crack and eventually
commit suicide.

Be smart, be quick. Find out who is human, and who is not. Defeat the creature
or escape.
