## Description

In _Bundeskanzler 2009-2013_ the player becomes Bundeskanzler, the German
Federal Chancellor. The game is very similar to G.P.S.: Geo-Political
Simulator, just limited to Germany. The political agenda is set by the chosen
(fictional) party and by answering sixteen questions about fundamental and
current topics, e.g. the war in Afghanistan. These answers also influence the
relationship to the own party.

Most of the game is spent in various menus where the player can set every
political detail: from taxes to budgets to ministry personal. All these
settings and decisions influence have consequences in the long run and the
population’s minds which is important to get re-elected. When the player
participates in military action the game switches to an isometric perspective
and the player directly controls his forces like in classic strategy games.

This is all played in real-time but the player can quicken (or stop) it if
there is nothing to do. In comparison to _G.P.S.: Geo-Political Simulator_
there is a new tutorial which accompanies the player on his first steps.
Additionally there is a trivia quiz about Germany.
