Bridge Builder 2 is the second installment of a series of logical games simulating bridge engineering. Developers from Caipirinha Games studio decided to completely rebuild the fun model by introducing many new solutions, including a completely new graphics engine.

As in the original from 2004, the player is to design, build and test a bridge. The main campaign offers a total of 48 scenarios. They differ not only in the specificity of the environment (e.g. cities, industrialised areas, mountains), but also in the available materials and properties to be met by the structure.

The creators have made every effort to make players feel a lot of freedom of action. Each task can be completed in many ways. In many cases, it is only the creativity of the “designer” that determines what kind of bridge will connect the two edges and what the whole structure will look like. The range of available building materials includes wood, steel, concrete and a number of pneumatic and mechanical elements.

Compared to the first part of the cycle, the gameplay component associated with testing has been significantly expanded. The strength and stability of the structure can be checked not only with cars, trains and ships (drawbridges), but also with specific vehicles such as buses or tanks. In order to diversify the fun, the bridges built by the player have to cope not only with gravity, but also with various forces of nature, such as gusty winds, storms or earthquakes.

Bridge Builder 2 offers two difficulty levels – easy for beginners and expert for more advanced “engineers”. Built-in social features allow you to compare your skills and design solutions with other players. Through the official fan community service it is also possible to exchange scenarios created with the help of a level editor added to the game.
