Black gained the title of one of the most interesting and beautifully presented FPSs released on PlayStation 2 and Xbox. Encouraged by the success of Criterion Games developers took care of preparing a sequel for the next generation platforms – PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.
Fabula Black: Second Mission continues the threads presented in the first part. Players will thus learn about the future of Sergeant Jacek Keller, famous for his insubordination as a member of the elite CIA unit for counteracting global terrorism. When fragile peace in the world comes back to the brink of collapse, the specialist for effective and spectacular elimination of enemies must enter the action.
As befits a classic, action-packed FPS release, the gameplay in Black: Second Mission is geared towards dynamic shooting sequences. A large arsenal of weapons has been put at the player’s disposal, and the key to each mission is to choose the right type of weapon, with which Keller will be equipped.
The campaign of single-person mode consists of a number of missions located in different locations. It is complemented by a fully functional multiplayer, allowing you to fight against live opponents in several game variants.
Awareness: work on the game was suspended around 2009. After Stuart Black (chief designer Black) left the Criterion Games team, the chances of completing the project have fallen practically to zero.
