Summary
Battletoads & Double Dragon can be seen as a sequel to both “Double Dragon” and Rare’s “Battletoads”. It was released in 1993 on the Nintendo Entertainment System, and was quickly ported to the Sega Mega Drive, Super NES, and Game Boy.
Story Line
After being defeated in the first Battletoads game, the Dark Queen returns in a giant spaceship called the Colossus. She has allied herself with the Shadow Warriors, who are the villains who Billy and Jimmy Lee fight in the Double Dragon series. The Battletoads team up with Billy and Jimmy Lee to fight their common enemies.
