Bad Dudes vs. DragonNinja is a game developed by Data East for an Upright Arcade cabinet, and became a part of gaming history mainly due to the incorporation of the cut scene. Ironically, it was generally viewed with criticism, but still made a significant contribution to the development of video game design. It was ported onto many different platforms, and was also released on the Nintendo Wii as a part of a classic games package.
Bad Dudes vs DragonNinja is a side-scrolling game that allows for single or cooperative play. "Blade", and "Striker" are the two protagonists, who must rescue the President-Ronnie. Ronnie, who was depicted to appear like Ronald Reagan, and was captured by the evil DragonNinja-as a result of the "rampant ninja related crimes these days". Some variance to this storyline appears in different ports, including the North American NES version, which depicts a President who resembles George H.W. Bush.
