## Description

_Babblarna: F orsta spelet_ is the first game in a series of educational
products (including toys, books, videos and more) that are based on the
Karlstad Model of language intervention. It’s intended for children in the
early stages of language development, both toddlers and young children, with
or without special needs.

The game consists of three small games as well as a number video clips
featuring the strange creatures known as Babblarna. The first game is called
Who is who? (Vem ar vem?). It shows a number of characters and the player has
to click on the one whose name is spoken. The second game is called Babba’s
Things (Babbas saker) and shows a number of images of various things and it’s
up to the player to click on the thing that Babba wants. Finally there’s a
game called Make your own song (Gor din egen lat). The player creates songs by
clicking on a xylophone where each bar represents the voice of one of the
creatures. All of the games can be customized to the player’s needs.
