Archaic is a multiplayer dinosaur survival game. Hunt for food, gather resources, build shelter, and fight off dangerous dinosaurs.
**Hunger and Thirst:** You’ll have to hunt for meat from smaller dinosaurs and animals around the island, all while avoiding the attention of larger dinosaurs. Finding water will also be necessary. Food must be cooked and water must be boiled at a campfire in order to prevent sickness.
**Shelter:** Shelter can be built to provide refuge from some dinosaurs – until a T-Rex comes charging straight through and destroys your entire sense of safety.
**Crafting:** Every one of the tens of thousands of trees on the island can be chopped down for wood. Wood is used for shelter, campfires, and weapons such as bows and arrows.
**Supplies:** Supply crates are occasionally dropped at the overrun research facility, containing food, water, and your only source of ammunition. These supplies are yours for the taking, if you can make it past the T-Rex that has made the facility its home.
**Scarcity:** Ammo is scarce and impossible to obtain without access to the supply crates. Bows can take down smaller dinosaurs, but are much less effective against larger ones. Teamwork and stealth will be necessary in order to survive.
**Dinosaur Behavior:** All dinosaurs behave differently depending on the species and time of day. While you may stumble across Velociraptors during the day, they will only actively stalk you and hunt you down at night. Triceratops are friendly, but will attack or flee if provoked. The Tyrannosaurus rex will eat anything in its way, whether human or dinosaur.
**Multiplayer:** Play with your friends! Meet strangers and team up, or perhaps raid their base for ammo. The choice is yours – do whatever it takes to ensure your survival. Prefer playing alone? No problem, you can play offline too.
