## Description
_Antony Cotton’s Rovers Return Pub Quiz_ is a quiz based around the Rovers
Return, a pub in the long running UK TV series ‘Coronation Street’ in which
Antony Cotton plays barman Sean Tully.
This quiz claims to have more than one thousand questions and can be played by
as either a single player game or a two team game. In the multiplayer game the
team names are Betty’s Hotshots and Dierdre’s Dynamos, in a single player game
the player plays as a member of Betty’s Hotshots. Each game consists of five,
four question rounds. At the end of each round the scores for tha preceding
round are announced, after round two the cumulative score|(s) are also
announced. in multiplayer games the team that is in the lead is announced.
The rounds are;
* Round 1: Celebrities.
* Round 2: General Knowledge
* Round 3: Roy’s Random Round.
Round 4: History & Geography
* Round 5: Entertainment
Each round has a different style, i.e. the questions have the same multiple
choice format but the background and presentation is different. Questions can
be identify disguised celebrity faces of people from the past, what is a
celebrities real name etc, they may use a film clip, a sound clip, a still
picture or nothing at all.
In a single player game the player presses the arrow on the remote that
corresponds to the answer on screen. At the end of the game the total score is
announced, there’s a short video sequence showing Antony Cotton tidying up the
pub after everyone has gone, the credits role and the game is over.
In a multiplayer game both teams answer the same question. Betty’s Hotshots
are the team that always goes first and they must answer using the remote
without the other team seeing what answer they select. In the multiplayer game
Round 3: Roy’s Random Round is played differently – the question is asked of
both teams together and the first team to shout out the answer wins the point.
After the final round the cumulative scores are shown, the winning team is
announced,
