Rettungswagen-Simulator 2014 is an ambulance simulator, in which we are faced with the task of saving the health and life of people injured in various types of accidents and situations. The game was created in cooperation with professional and specialized rescuers, thanks to which all the actions and activities undertaken by the crew members faithfully recreate the reality of work of the team providing medical aid. The production was created and published by the German company Astragon specializing in this type of topics.

In the game we take part in 40 scenarios of varying degrees of difficulty and complexity, testing the ability to help in various circumstances. The game is divided into two stages – in the first of them we sit behind the wheel of the ambulance and try to get to the action place as soon as possible. The creators have prepared four models of vehicles – as the campaign progresses, the access to the next ambulances is gradually unblocked. While driving on the streets of the city we can use a whole range of light and sound signals to facilitate movement in the streets, which increases the chances of success of the mission.

The second part of the game is to carry out a rescue action on the scene of the event. By taking command of the medical personnel on board the ambulance, we try to get the situation under control as soon as possible, using the available equipment and objects that are on the ambulance equipment. Time is often the most important factor in saving lives, so the game focuses on the coordination and cooperation of all rescuers, while requiring accuracy in the various elements of the action. We carry out our activities both during the day and at night.

The creators have also made available a very extensive tool that allows you to modify individual elements of the game and create a new content that will add variety to the game. The game also supports a number of the most popular gamepads and steering wheels, which allows you to feel the simulation model of fun even more.

The production presents itself on average in terms of audiovisual setting – character designs and vehicle models are poor in detail and their animation is very simple.
