## Description
_Alphaprobe_ is based on the arcade game Lunar Lander and sees you
controlling the N.S.S. Alphaprobe attempting to land on a landing pad on the
surface of various planets. Viewed from the side, you are dropped from your
Mothershhip and you fall towards the surface of the planet using your
thrusters to control your descent. You can move your craft left or right but
you can’t move your craft upwards, only slow the descent as you aim for the
landing pad. Using the thrusters uses fuel but you can land on fuel dumps to
increase your levels. Once you land then you move onto the next planet but it
is game over if you land too fast (over 10 m/s) or run out of fuel. There are
five skill levels (1-5) with 1 being the easiest and on levels 3 to 5 there
are also spores in the air that need avoiding.
