This is a first-person shooter in which players assume the role of elite commandos on a mission to reclaim a mining rig from hostile aliens. Players use a variety of weapons (e.g., shotguns, automatic rifles, grenade launchers, energy blasters) and melee attacks to kill alien enemies in frenetic combat; battles are highlighted by cries of pain, realistic gunfire, and large explosions. Red blood effects appear on screen as players' character takes damage, and injured enemies emit exaggerated splashes of fluorescent blood; dead bodies incur additional damage when shot. A variety of sequences also depict dead humans lying in pools of blood. The words “f**k” and “sh*t” can be heard in the dialogue.
