## About the Game
Akolyta is a first person horror adventure. The features of the game will be based on some similar standard horror game mechanics such as a notebook used to contain collected documents, a tape recorder used to play audio logs, and a flashlight as well as combat and RPG elements. As the player, you won’t just be running throughout the game, picking up various items to fill up your inventory; you’ll also be able to fight back against the enemies and upgrade your skill set.
## Story
This story takes place in the 1990s. The player will assume control of Marshall Prime, a hot-shot detective in the city of Gorenwille, along with his partner, Benjamin Black, whose ability of solving murder cases is uncanny. Even with a huge increase in the number of murders in Gorenville, Benjamin Black has tried his best to decrease the number of deaths in the murderous cycle, but even he as a one-man army couldn’t decrease that number. However, the death statistics have recently started to fluctuate in the city of Gorenville. Upon further investigation, Marshall has discovered that not everything is as it seems. It’s much more complicated than he had first imagined. He has come to the conclusion that the cases are not just about the murders – there is much more to the story than meets the eye.
## Target Audience
Our aim is to target players who are not just enthralled by single player, story based, horror adventure type games, but twisted storylines and deceit as well. We want to draw players from across the globe, to be entangled and captivated in the web of lies. The players’ gaming experience should be an exhilarating rollercoaster ride in story-based videogames.
## Current Status
At the moment, our dedicated specialist teams are working on a demo version of Akolyta, which will be available for early access. So our job is to keep our fans updated as the time draws nearer to the demo release. The game mechanics are already in place and we’re working on the environment and polishing existing content. Akolyta
The story takes place in 90’s. Player takes control of Marshall Prime who is detective in City of Gorenwille. Together with his partner – Benjamin Black he will have solve numbers of murders that recently increased in the city. After further investigation Marshall will discover that everything is much more complicated than he thought and that the case is not just about the murders.
