Air Strike HD
Air Strike is a single player, mouse controlled shooter.
The shareware version of the game contains Episode One: Air Attack. This is a
simple ten level game in which the mouse cursor becomes a targeting reticule
for an anti aircraft gun. Enemy aircraft of various sizes appear, some fly
towards the player towards the player, some fly across the screen at an angle,
others fly away from the player off into the distance.
Using their mouse/gun and limited ammunition the player must shoot these
planes down, each plane scores points with the smaller planes scoring more
because they are harder to hit.
Later the action moves to the coast where the enemy are more cautions and
harder to hit. Finally, just to make things even harder the player has to fend
off attacks at night.
The registered version contains two further episodes. In Episode Two: The
Pillbox the player controls a gun emplacement and must defend their position
against tanks and/or storm troopers etc. In Episode Three: Sub Hunt the action
moves out to sea with the player commanding a destroyer and fighting U-Boats
