Dark Souls Remastered includes support for upscale 4K resolution and at native 60 frames per second for the first time. The system requirements are significantly higher than for the original 2012 Dark Souls, but it's not very demanding for a 2018 game. A five-year-old mid-range graphics card can play Dark Souls Remastered on recommended 1080p graphics settings.
A Dark Souls Remastered is rumoured to be in development. It will remake the original Dark Souls with the Dark Souls 3 visual package, including rebuilt lighting and special effects. The multiplayer player count will also be increased to six players.
