The Tropico series is normally pretty forgiving on requirements. This leads us to feel that the latest Tropico 6 will require a mid to low end computer hardware. To get Tropico 6 to reach a comfortable 60 Frames per second @ 1080p resolution we expect Tropico will require a Core i5 Intel processor or will require a FX 4170 processor from AMD. Tropico 6 will also require a GTX 660 graphics card or above or a R7 370 from AMD. Add to this the 8 GB RAM requirement and we expect Tropico 6 will run smoothly throughout.
Kalypso has announced Tropico 6 is in development. The life of a small tropical island dictator continues in 2018, El Capitan. More details on Tropico 6 as and when we hear it.
