Team Bondi, responsible for LA Noire have largely been absorbed by George Miller's KMM Studios (George was director of Mad Max and various other movies) following issues after LA Noire was completed earlier this year.No details on the project have been revealed yet, the game's title sounds like it refers to the Chinese city of Shanghai earning itself the nickname, The Whore Of The Orient in the early 20th century.
