This is a 3d side-scrolling remake of the 1988 classic NES game Blaster Master' The tiny 8-bit sprites will be reconceived as high poly normal mapped models' Gameplay and level design will remain true to the original, but the art style will have a more organic/grotesque/creepy feel to it' The engine is based on the Quake source with some heavy modifications that I've made to the renderer'
