THE NEST
Connor and Hank will arrive at a rundown apartment. Exit the elevator and follow Hank down the hall. You’ll see feathers on the ground to your right that you can analyze. Hank will then walk up to a door that you can knock on. Do so and watch the cutscene that plays. Hank will then bust open the door, follow him inside as he checks each room.
Continue following Hank through the house until you see a bunch of birds flying around. You’ll be able to examine objects within the apartment. Take a look at the jacket on the table on the right side of the apartment, then move to the left to see a farmers poster and closet you can inspect.
You’ll scan the poster and then be able to remove it. Within the cracked wall is a journal you can pick up and read. Hit the prompt to browse through the journal.
Move back to the other side of the apartment and pick up the ID card on the shelf. Then take a few steps to examine the bird food on the counter and the empty fridge next to it. Looking at these will give you more info about the suspect. Move over to the bathroom on the left side and examine the sink. You’ll be able to sample the blue blood on there and pick up the tracker on the side of the sink. This will confirm the suspect is a deviant.
You can then turn around and look at the markings on the wall. Hank will come in and a short dialogue will play. When he leaves and you regain control, analyze the broken seat on the ground, which will allow you to scan two clues and reconstruct the scene.
Scroll the timeline to the yellow part and scan the two prompt that appears. You’ll see where the suspect ran off to. Go back to the living room and scan the birdcage on the ground to reconstruct again and see where the suspect ran to.
Eventually, the reconstruction will show you that the suspect is still there and went into the floor above you. When you look above, the deviant will jump down on to Connor and scare Hank with a bunch of birds flying around.
