ASCENDING THE TOWER
Start moving up the building by hitting the prompt to jump off the side and hold up to keep moving. You’ll climb up to the higher floors for a short period. Eventually, you’ll reach a window that you can cut open using more prompts that appear on the screen. Once you open the window, hit the buttons to burst through and meet up with North inside.
Walk over to the lift elevator on the right side and open it up to let Simon and Josh inside. Next walk to the door nearby and place a charge on the handle to open the door. You’ll have to head over to the Main Access corridor. Walk to the end of the hall and open the door to enter the floor. You’ll notice some guards that you’ll be given a choice to deal with.
Pick the option to RUSE them and walk over to the counter. When you get somewhat close, hit the prompt to draw your gun on them and scare them. Hit the prompt to order them to stand up and turn around and you’ll be given a choice to kill them or knock them out.
Knock both guards out (don’t kill them!) and you’ll be clear to enter the next area. Go through the door towards the main broadcast room, hit the prompt to ring the door.
THE BROADCAST
Once inside, a short cutscene will play and then you’ll be tasked with ordering the androids to stand down. A human will break free and start running away, to which you’ll be given a choice to kill him or not. Spare him and let him run away. Next, you’ll be able to move around and speak to Josh to begin the speech broadcast.
Begin the speech by hitting the button prompt and a short cutscene will play. You’ll be given a series of choices for what Marcus’ speech will be. To get the “Good” ending of the game, you’ll need to have a pacifist series of demands of the humans. This means focusing on android equal rights, recognition as a new species, civil rights, work, means of reproduction, and finally Peaceful.
After the speech, a group of guards will break in and start firing on Marcus the group. Simon will get injured, and you’ll have to choose whether to save him or join the fight with North and Josh. Choose to help Simon and bring him over to the others. Hit the button prompts to make your way to North and Josh. All of them will escape out the door to the roof area, but Simon will be too injured to continue. You’ll be given another choice on whether to kill Simon or leave him there.
Choose to Leave Him There and you’ll have to jump off the building. Run off the side of the building and jump off the roof. A cutscene will play out showing the world’s reaction to Marcus’ speech, which will change depending on the choices you made during the speech. Afterward, all the news organizations are shown, the chapter will end.
Killing the guards choice: After pulling out the gun you can choose to shoot the guard with the radio or the guard with the gun, shooting the radio guard gets Simon injured. Shooting the gun guard gets the gun guard killed lol. Poor, Simon gets bad luck this chapter no matter what.
Public Enemy
When the chapter begins, you’ll be controlling Connor and will need to find Amanda in the garden. Walk across the bridge and over to the left to a small boat. Amanda will be on there waiting for you. Go onto the boat and hit the prompts to row with her along the water.
The two of them will have a conversation, where you’ll be asked a few questions. Tell Amanda about Hank, and pick the Determind option, followed by No Use. Your answers will increase or decrease Amanda’s trust in you. Contiune the conversation and answer a few more questions to Amanda, and eventually the cutscene will end. Connor will eventually be reunited with Hank at the Stratford Building from the previous chapter.
