FINDING MARCUS

When Marcus turns around, you’ll have another choice of what to say to North. Pick the THOUGHTFUL option and watch the next cutscene. North will pull out a dirty bomb remote and ask you what to do. You’ll have the option to detonate it or refuse it, pick the option to REFUSE. There will be another cutscene before Marcus and North get close and you’ll have the option to kiss her. Choose KISS and watch the scene play out.

When North finally leaves, Connor will appear nearby and you’ll be sent to another conversation with Amanda, before seeing Connor move in on Marcus to hold him up. When Connor is threatening Marcus, you’ll have a series of options to choose from that will determine the next phase of events, which will quickly switch between the two androids for each one.

First pick the REASON option for Marcus, then the INSTRUCTIONS option with Connor. Next choose CONVINCE for Marcus, then APPEAL and SOW DOUBTS for him as well. Each choice will cause Connor’s Software Instability to go up. Next choose RALLY for Marcus, which will show one last cutscene before you’re given a critical choice for Connor.

You can choose to become a deviant or remain a machine. Pick the option to BECOME A DEVIANT and you’ll begin a series of button prompts to have Connor break through his programming. After you hit all of the promts, Connor will now become a deviant and Amanda’s trust will drop drastically.
