First Person Perspective (FPP)
Normally, there are two perspectives to choose from – First (FPP) and Third (TPP). You can switch between them, but there are several advantages that TPP provides you with, e.g. looking from behind a cover without leaning out. One of the updates introduced modes Solo FPP and Duo FPP. These are variants of Solo and Duo modes, where you only play in FPP. This involves several limitations.
1. In FPP, you cannot look from behind a cover without exposing yourself to fire. Here, you have to lean out from behind the cover to see anything. As a result of that, you can be shot by an enemy observing the area. However, this works both ways – the enemy also has to lean out.
2. It is impossible to look into a building by panning the camera in an appropriate way. The only way to find out what is going on in the building it enter the building or look through the window – in both cases, this may end in your death. This also means that it is easier to defend while indoors, especially if the enemy moves around carelessly and you can easily track him.
3. In FPP, you can still use “ALT” to look around. You can look around within 180 degrees- nie you cannot look back.
4. It is better to watch out on a vehicle, if your vision is limited in connection with a different mode. The key thing is not to drive the car among buildings – if you want to check out a building, park the car within the distance of, around, 100 meters and approach the building slowly. This way, you will limit the noise of the working engine.
5. Remember that you can play with your friend in the DUO mode. What makes this important is that you will be able to monitor what is going on around you, especially behind your back. Thanks to your companion, you are safer moving forward, while he (or you) keeps an eye on what’s behind you. This will decrease the risk of a flanking attack.
6. After you jump off the plane and go down, you will be in TPP. Use that to your advantage to locate as many enemies as possible, before all of you land. As soon as you land, you (and the rest of the players) will switch into FPP.
Inventory management
You can open the inventory by pressing I or TAB. You will find there a list of items from your backpack, then a depiction of the avatar and the stuff it’s wearing. The last thing is the section with weapons that you’re wielding. You can simply drag’n’drop items from the inventory into the usable items fields – same goes for disposing of stuff you don’t need.
Check out the slots underneath the firearms – there you can put different augmentations that will improve your aiming, accuracy or increase the ammo capacity of the gun. It’s a sort of very rudimentary crafting mechanic. Weapon mods can be found in different parts of the map – collect them, because in case of long-range weapons more accuracy or more ammo capacity can mean the difference between life and death.
