Cult locations and prepper stashes on Dutch’s Island

The page contains information on the cultist outposts and prepper stashes located on the Dutch’s Island in Far Cry 5. Dutch’s Island is the prologue location. You can either complete these side activities before beginning the main plotline of Far Cry 5, or come back later on.

Cult outpost on Dutch s Island

There’s just one cultist’s outpost on Dutch’s Island. It’s the Ranger Station in the eastern part of the island. In this location, you should keep your actions low-profile (use the bow from the prepper stash – look below for details – or perform quiet takedowns). Capturing the station yields 600 resistance points.

Sunken Funds

This is the only prepper stash on Dutch’s Island. It’s linked to a side quest, which you can trigger by finding the green gem icon on Dutch’s Island. There, you will find the Prepper’s Note, from which you can learn about the treasure.

You have to get inside the Silver Lake Boathouse. The doors are locked, but you can simply jump into the water and use the wide entrance shown above. Swim inside and find the key(it will allow you to get out of the house without jumping into the water again) and a power switch.

Exit the building and find the entrance to the bunker in the vicinity (screen above). Interact with the dial and use the key to gain access to the bunker. Take the stairs down and use any weapon you want to break the boards that are blocking the way. In the last room, you will find the prepper’s treasure. That is: some resources useful for crafting explosives, some cash and a bow (very useful to quietly take down enemies).
